I've been planning events, coordinating details and creating beautiful experiences for people as long as I can remember. I was ten when I worked my first wedding. And by "worked", I mean my Mom’s friend paid me $50 to be in charge of lighting candles and keeping them lit through the evening. True story!
I remember looking around at everyone eating and laughing, dancing and hugging, and I thought to myself, 'THIS. IS. AWESOME. Everyone is so happy, they're celebrating love, everything looks so wonderful, people are dressed up...’ and in the midst of it all I stopped to realize that this was a once in a lifetime, truly unique experience, and you only get one shot at it. I didn't know it yet, but this is when weddings and social events became my passion.
